Plus the NBA Finals between the Heat and Lakers are about to get under way as MLB hits the post-season.But it's (almost) all about BASEBALL on Diamond Diehards, so the guys broke down every series and every team in the tournament. We want to know what you prefer! The Veteran of the Day was late St. Louis Cardinals Hall-of-Famer Stan Musial. Musial was drafted into service in 1944 and called to duty in January 1945. Musial was assigned to a ship repair unit in Pearl Harbor, but still found time to play baseball in the Navy's on-base league.
