The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”Accountability Gives You Strength – Proverbs 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”Accountability Gives You Protection – Hebrews Biblical Examples of Accountability1 Timothy 2 Timothy Titus Not only grace, but mercy and peace were obviously important to Paul as we see in his greetings to Timothy and Titus, his sons in the faith. Timothy and Titus were young pastors and Paul had the responsibility of leading them. My bible suggested that Paul wrote 1 Timothy as a reference manual for leadership so that Timothy will have effective guidance for his work during Paul’s absence in Macedonia. Paul wrote 2 Timothy as an encouragement to faithfully endure and carry on the work that Paul must relinquish. Paul wrote Titus to give him strength and exhort him to firmly exercise his authority over the church at Crete. Basically, Titus is the conduct manual for church living.What a great example Paul has set for us. His letters to Timothy and Titus are letters of encouragement to grow in their own faith as they are examples to others.
