Jehovah-Nissi only occurs once in the Old Testament, Exodus When opposing nations or groups go against each other in battle, a banner or flag on a pole with an insignia is flown at each of their respective front lines. Not only is this for a focal point for the troops, but it gives them encouragement and a feeling of hope.
