For some, The Salvation Army is known as a church, for others, a charity. Clearly there is much overlap between the two perspectives, especially when it comes to working internationally. The Salvation Army has a local presence in 132 countries and runs many projects through its network of corps (churches), health clinics, schools and social centres.
