At last! Competition in the UK. And marathon swimmer Alice Dearing was back in the pool for the first time in 11 months. Alice normally competes in open water - but grabbed this opportunity as British Swimming put on a competitive meeting in Manchester.She talks about how she loved the event and describes how it worked....and hopefully paves the way for more competitions and a return to recreational pools being opened.Thanks for listening. I’ve covered 5 Olympic and 5 Paralympic Games at home and abroad. Tokyo 2020 was to have been numbers 6. So how are the athletes preparing during Covid times.
