Your mouth is the gateway to your body and can affect your overall health. There are more than 6 billion bacteria present inside the mouth, which means you have more bacteria in your mouth than people who make up the Earth's human population!
Most of the bacteria in the mouth are harmless, but the wrong bacteria in your mouth can lead to tooth decay, gingivitis (gum disease), heart disease and kidney disease.
