The political establishment has spent years insisting that bold progressive candidates are simply too radical to win—especially in the Rust Belt. But Michigan may have just shattered that argument.

In recent Michigan primary victories, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, Donovan McKinney, and William Lawrence emerged victorious despite facing enormous financial disadvantages and opposition from establishment-backed forces.
