stories about one of the tragedies that occurred in Sidoarjo in 2006, namely the Lapindo

mudflow tragedy, from the disaster it has now become a hot mud lake tourist spot.

Exactly 16 years ago, the Lapindo mud disaster occurred. A small village in sidoarjo was

electrified by hot mud gushing from the ground. It was unexpected that this mud would

submerge villages, destroy public buildings, and make tens of thousands of residents lose their

homes. Precisely in the sub-districts of Porong, Tanggulangin, and jabon, East Java, with an

area of around 640 hectares.
