We seem to be in the midst of a "mental illness" pandemic! 

Never before, have so many people been "diagnosed" with mental illnesses. Now the quote marks may seem provocative for the sake of being provocative. There certainly is no outrage being drummed up here. Mental health is a very serious matter.
