Sandie Heron is the author of "Journey into the Unknown: Finding the courage to move from where you are to where God wants you to be." In her book, she shares her journey from Jamaica, to living and working in Japan and all the challenges that she had to overcome to pursue what she deeply felt was her divine calling.
Sandie is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Mona and holds a bachelors degree in English Literature and Cultural Studies. She currently works as an Assistant Language teacher at a high school in Tokyo, where she cherishes the opportunity she has to impact lives daily. She is passionate about hearing, capturing and sharing the stories of people all over the world and does this in a remarkably captivating way on her YouTube channel @sandieheron.
In today’s episode, Sandie shares her passion for God, the power of being separated and isolated, but not alone, meeting and knowing God outside of the pews, and experiencing love and support in a place where she didn't even speak the language.
