Join us for the first conversation in a new series titled: “Lessons from covid-19 2020, 26 stories 1 Pandemic: Meet the bestselling authors.” In today’s episode, I talk with Educator, Curriculum Development Specialist, and bestselling author, Aldith Lowe who shares on the power of your circle during a crisis and a pandemic and the importance of removing the walls, so others can reach you.
Aldith is a trained teacher and has worked in higher education administration for the past 18 years. Her expertise includes program and institutional accreditation and curriculum development. She is currently a PhD student at the Indiana Wesleyan University studying Organizational Leadership.
She holds a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Florida International University (FIU), a Bachelor of Education and two Diplomas from the University of Technology, Jamaica. Aldith was awarded a Certificate of Excellence from FIU for achieving one of the highest GPAs among her peers in the program.
It was a refreshing and awe-inspiring conversation to talk with Aldith whom I called the miracle lady. She has gone through so much, but she maintains a peace and joy that only comes from God. It hasn’t always been easy, listen to the episode and do go out and purchase a copy of the book to hear how she strengthens her relationship with God, others and self during this pandemic.
Two of the gems that really stayed with me during and after our conversation are:
Gem 1: God truly loves us and when we understand that, it changes everything!
Gem 2: His plans for us are good and we can rest in that assurance – Jeremiah
Thank you for listening! Please subscribe and share if you know someone who is looking for a message of hope, strength and resilience and rebirth in and through Christ.
