APRIL WHITE has been a film producer, private investigator, bouncer, teacher, and screenwriter. She has climbed in the Himalayas, lived on a gold mine in the Yukon, and survived a shipwreck. She and her husband live in Southern California with their two sons, a dog, various chickens, and a lifetime collection of books.

Books are what brought the three of us together. Sharing exciting adventures and new worlds with each other created a bond like no other.

After being part of multiple book clubs together over the years, there was always a distant dream for each of us to own a bookstore. Although this dream was years in the making, we decided to finally take the leap in January 2022 and open Dear Readers Bookstore and Podcast.
