I just saw Masters of the Universe: Revelation on Netflix, the Kevin Smith helmed He-Man Project. I can absolutely relate to the backlash and the criticism. I am not sure why Kevin Smith decided on this route, nor who motivated him. But the end result is troubling and so is his behavior.

Shocked about the plot, love the design and visual aspect of the show, but Teela's idiotic behavior and storyline is mind blowing, aside from the fact that He-Man get's nearly killed twice O_O
