You have to become accountable and make the decision to move around. No one has time to deal with confusion when it comes to dating. 

A person who truly wants a connection with you, will not leave you feeling confused. You will know in their actions. When their actions do not match the level of interest you desire and they profess, you have every right to walk away. No one is obligated to be honest, treat you right. The only one that has that obligation is you to yourselves.
