Chef Paul Rivera, from a family of farmers, married into a family of farmers by marrying my cousin. He learned the value of preparing food as a way to bring joy to people when they are together. He learned to cook as a young child as a way to help and contribute to his household growing up, but found his passion through hands on experience as an apprentice in the field.
