This week, Dr. Janet Smith Warfield interviews S. Michael Kozubek, retired criminal prosecutor, assistant to two judges, representative of children and parents in child abuse and neglect cases, award-winning haiku poet, currently volunteering at Sarasota’s Selby Botanical Gardens, a companion to several residents at a local assisted living facility, member of Sarasota United for Responsibility and Equity (SURE), working on justice for the underprivileged, affordable housing, education, and criminal justice to reshape lives.
