Black Box - Ride On Time (Massive Mix)



Kicking off with a track that holds its own name in the annals of house history, Black Box's "Ride On Time" became the UK's best-selling single of 1989. If you remember flipping through TV channels and stumbling upon the fall of the Berlin Wall, there's a good chance this Massive Mix was pulsating through nightclubs, offering an uncanny blend of freedom and euphoria. It was not without controversy as it sampled the vocals of Loleatta Holloway who later sued the label over copyright infringement which was ultimately settled out of court and included the addition of her name as the vocalist on future album pressings.
