Over the past year we have heard this refrain more and more: "Don't  question the science." In this episode, we'll take a look at the  chimerical research being done at the Salk Institute in California, and  what this type of research means for our understanding of the purpose,  place, and ethics of science. When it often appears that the question  guiding scientific experimentation is, "What can we do," and not, "What  should we do," there are many serious questions that need to be asked,  and serious decisions to be made about the place, role, and limitations  of science.
