John For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.In our passage, it states that God gave his one and only Son, but why did he? Why did it get to this point?Many of us Christians do just like the father in the story and start reading the Bible from the back. As we should, but we must understand the Bible as a whole, many small stories telling a bigger story, God’s story. When we look at the entire Bible as a whole, we can better understand all the stages of the story that God is communicating with the world.
