Though it's hard to digest, Jesus gives a clear picture of what judgment really is in this verse from John. Those who belong to him will stay with him, even through eternity. But those who hate him also hate his Father. The Father, the Son, and the Spirit are all one. There is no picking a favorite part. And even more so, Jesus identifies his followers as himself. If we are in Him, we are taking part in all that He is. If the world hates us, or any part of the Trinity, they bring judgment on themselves.
