He competed for the club in the mid to late 80's in the golden era of the club and the emergence of middle distance running is Australia competing with the likes of Robert de Castella and Steve Moneghetti. He also represented Australia at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea. He now lives up in sunny Queensland and we have tracked him down to hear about his time at the club and what it took to become one of Australia's best marathoners.
