I remember the days when most people walked around with an original Walkman. This was a bulky player that allowed you to listen to cassettes on the go through headphones. This device was manufactured by the Sony company and it was available for purchase unchanged for nearly ten years. Product cycles at that time were often several years long. But today the situation has changed completely.

There are technologies that are updated even several times in a week. For example, the offers for software for the creation of 3D video content. There is not only one but even numerous providers that offer a corresponding solution. By the way, we ourselves use this for a customer to enable virtual tours of real estate. For this purpose we use a 360° camera and a software that allows a prospective buyer to take an online tour on his own laptop. With this software you can inspect every corner in every room, you can turn around or scroll closer. And also for the recognition of human speech or for the creation of audio files by means of text recognition there are at the moment many useful offers from providers who overtake each other in providing the latest functions.

How is a business owner supposed to keep up with such high-speed updates? The only way is with automated content and an optimal production process. And even if you personally don't like automated videos, the fact remains that content of this type is becoming more and more widespread on the web, and even large companies are using such solutions more and more. Artificial intelligence has now become an integral part of the Internet world and it will probably continue to do so in the coming years. Whereas a few years ago websites were still largely provided with static texts and flashing images, today it is more the standard that dynamic content is displayed which is made available with videos in different languages.

If your business is international, you know that the majority of your customers like to be served content in their native language. We feel the same way, and there are a few ways you can easily make your video content available in different languages. One of the easiest ways is to use Google Translator. This is because Google Translator is actually capable of translating complete web pages in addition to translating text sequences. If you are not yet familiar with this function, just open your web browser and visit the Translate Google Com website. On the left side enter the address of your own website and on the right side select a target language. Now you should see a link in the field on the right for this web address that you can click on. As soon as you do that you will land on the website, but now you will get to see the content you provided in the target language. Since Google Translator supports a large number of languages, this is a great way to provide a translated version for customers in other languages with almost no effort. However, the translation quality may not be very good. For example, there can be shifts in the display and it could also be a problem if you use technical terms on your website that can not be translated one-to-one.

Also with some plugins this can lead to problems. The far easier option is to upload videos to YouTube and create a translation there for each of the target languages. In fact, you don't even have to do this yourself, because for the majority of languages there is an auto translator function that you can even use for free on YouTube. Once you have published your video you can use the link to this video on your website to embed the video there. The viewers will then see the content in their own preferred language. At the moment, these are only subtitles, but technology will certainly develop further in this area in the future. And if you already take into account in your own production process that the video will later be played with different audio languages, then it is also not a big problem to implement something like this. Of course, not every company offers international products, but it can also make sense for a local provider to support several national languages in their own video content. After all, if you take a look around your local shopping mall, you'll be surprised how many different languages are spoken there!

Okay, that's it for today. If you have any questions or suggestions about the content in this video, just send us an email. We always reply ourselves and usually within 24 hours. For now, thank you for your attention and we'll see you in the next video.
