Sam welcomed Greg Armstrong to the Syracuse Technologies studio for the first time. Greg, a recent graduate of the SUNY-Cortland Sport Management program, explained how prospective students can find a program like this, and what it means to get this degree. Greg gave an overview for the kinds of classes the students take, what the practicum expectations are, and what kinds of careers are available to graduates of this major. Additionally, the guys discussed the state of sports media, including podcasts, what it takes for kids to get started and succeed in sports media, and what the landscape looks like over the next few years. (Especially with ESPN and other sports content providers struggling to remain profitable...)
