Love this podcast! It’s one of my favorites while at the gym or late in the day when I’m lounging at home! Check it out, they have awesome conversation topics! Even though I don’t agree with all of their positions on the topics they y’all about....it still gives me different perspectives on today’s news and sports! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

These guys are hilarious and educated. Bust mostly, I want to take a nap in Diz’s beard.

I am huge fan of this podcast, it’s honest conversation about everything life touches. I thoroughly enjoy how each personality feeds off the others and adds something to the show. I am so glad to have this show as part of my media consumption. They do a good job of presenting the sides of both sides of an argument (to an extent) and that is very much appreciated. EVERYONE SHOULD DOWNLOAD AND LISTEN!!! These guys are LEGIT!!!

Everything I need in a podcast! Humor, current events, and political commentary- mix that in with some pop culture and I’m entertained for the entire time I’m listening. This is a great podcast to add on to the list- love it, highly recommend!

If you enjoy intellectual discussion, nerd/pop culture, and aren't cold hearted Devil who despises a good laugh, currently nerdy is the podcast for you. The podcast Currently Nerdy is the perfect combination of "woke" dissections of current events ranging anywhere from brutal global affairs to light hearted social media affairs. As the name suggests however, with three fully fledged nerds, currently nerdy also adds a large element of nerd related culture into their discussions, topics from comic books to video games and all other pop culture are discussed. These three in their respective "nerdems" have experienced all there is, from comic book conferences, to pointless debates about history, and failures in late night endeavors😉😏. Ali is your history nerd. His encyclopedic knowledge truly has no bounds and serves as the main focal point in deep discussions about social issues, current events, pop culture, and even light saber fighting techniques (hours of his life wasted studying for YOUR entertainment). Diz is your history nerd. To put it short, he's basically just aziz ansari, but with a better beard. His strong footing in pop culture is admirable but his impeccable humor adds a charm to the show that you must experience. Vy is your comic book nerd. He works very deep in the comic book world, attending conventions all the time as a part of his job. He seemingly would have a lot to say, but the 7-12 words he says each hour long episode are not too unexpected from someone who's name, phonetically, is only one letter. In comic book oriented episodes, however, he usually has much more to say. -noosh

My first podcast I've ever listened to, and I'm hooked!! I appreciate the mix of pop culture and history, didn't think this format could keep my attention span going.

I turn to them for a smart analysis of any big political or social events and I always appreciate their opinions. This is my favorite podcast. These guys are so much fun to listen to. All three of them bring something special to the table and flow off each other extremely well.

These guys are hilarious, I feel like I'm in a room with my friends. I can't help but yell things out while driving because of something crazy Diz says, I would highly recommend everyone listen to this podcast!

Husband listens to them all the time. He never misses an episode! Once I even heard him in the other room angry about something Ali said about white people. I listened to them for the first time today and the chemistry between the three of them is very enjoyable, funny, entertaining and informative. Worth a listen!!

I LOVE Pop Culture Happy Hour from NPR. But there are a lot of times where I feel like their experiences and lifestyles don’t necessarily mesh with mine. That kinda hurts my connection with the roundtable on the show. Diz, Ali and Vy have all created this incredible, no filter environment that I can totally connect with. It doesn’t replace PCHH, but it’s an amazing equal to that podcast. They don’t just cover nerdy pop culture things either, they also delve into current events from a “nerdy” perspective. I think that’s a clever way of staying relevant beyond what many would think are menial issues like whether or not Spider Man can be black. They’re basically striving for more than just commentary on pop culture in their podcast. They’re outright shooting for giving us commentary on real life issues as explicitly as possible, sprinkling in their own experiences throughout. That’s something that PCHH shies away from, and I couldn’t be happier that there’s a podcast out there combining all of my disparate interests with humor, acute insight, and copious amounts of vulgarity - my favorite things.

A great mix of indivduals and the chemistry of old friends really shines through. I was also impressed at how easy it was to delve in with them. You truly feel as if you're in the room chatting away with them. There were several times where I wanted to shout out a point. I really enjoy how they've crafted an informed conversation surrounding current events and keep it relevant to a wide audience.

Vy is a handsome man, I must say...but you have to talk more...

What can I say? Been listening to these gents for about a year now and they constantly surprise me with the immediate feedback toward their fanbase. Personally, I Love any banter about comic book related material and keeps me subscribed through the weeks and wanting more. Let your voice be heard, and tune in each week. PS, sorry it took me about a year to finally rate and review fellas. Don't judge me. haha

I am a bit disappointed that they haven't had any celebrity guest stars like Yussof or Edgar.

These guys are hilarious and have a great chemistry, it's like hanging out with friends that have known each other for years. Ali is really intelligent and brings strong knowledge, Vy is level headed and the regular guy, and Diz is the crazy one... A great combination of personalities!

These guys spoiled Game of Thrones for me. How can a podcast called "Currently Nerdy" not give you warnings before a spoiler? When they discuss how much grief they caused the week prior with spoilers, that's how! I don't mind their anti-white racist banter because they are pretty clever most days, but why do they have to spoil a show that most nerds currently are into? Because Ali Olomi is sociopathic. That's why. He's the kind of guy who would definitely kill someone if he knew he could get away with it so what does it matter if he ruins the show for you, a stranger? Oh, and yes I'm a white guy. That explains everything, I'm sure. Used to like your show boys. Bye.

Ali has an amazingly sexy voice, Diz is hilarious as hell, and Vi is just there! Then there is Mustafa; he's really shy.

Known some of these guys for a while and love hearing their musings. It's just like hanging out with friends and chewing the fat. Love it.

Have you had your mind blown recently or even ever? Well if you subscribe to Currently Nerdy and start listening I can guarantee your life will change forever. You can’t call yourself a nerd without listening to this podcast. This has definitely been one of the best forms of entertainment I have come across in the past 23 years of my life. Step up and get on their level!

Wow, I can't believe I just recently started listening to this podcast, where has this been all my life?!?! They're combination of humor and knowledge is unlike anything I've heard before, if Jon Stewart were edgier it would be these guys. Ali brings the knowledge and sarcasm, while Vy is usually the mild mannered voice of reason, and Diz, where do I begin? This guy not only is super hilarious, but he's actually pretty smart and makes this podcast for me. Keep up the great work guys, I'll make sure to spread the word!

Wish there was more episodes. I use to play d&d with Ali the mage, Vy the berserker and Mustafa the paladin. Dezbollah is my new favorite word, it rolls off the tongue - I find myself randomly saying it in the car and men's restroom at work.

Love the combination of intelligence, comedy and genuinely real people all in one podcast! NO FILTER is the best filter! Haven't missed a podcast yet and these guys have me rolling with laughter with each episode. These guys definitely know what they're talking about.
