PHILIPP TEUFEL | DE
Philipp Teufel studied visual communication at the “Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd” (Design Academy Schwäbisch Gmünd). Between 1984 and 1996, he created numerous exhibitions and museum designs on the Frankfurter Museumsufer (museum embankment). From 1995 to 2007, he was partner in the studio community „nowakteufelknyrim“ in Düsseldorf and since 2008 in the common studio with Victor Malsy „malsyteufel“ in Willich. Since 1994, he has been teaching as professor for communication design in the Design Department of the “Fachhochschule Düsseldorf” (University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf) with focus on Exhibition Design and is working as co-director of the “edi – Exhibition Design Institute”. Numerous publications and contributions regarding exhibition design and museography follow; the most recent one: „Neue Ausstellungsgestaltung 02.
