The disciples return from being sent out in the Spirit to work miracles among the people.  So Jesus takes them away to relax and debrief from their experiences.  And there, among the large cliffs of Caesarea Philippi, he asks them the most important question.  The Gospel, and our lives, hinge on the answer.
