Jesus, while teaching is approached by someone in the crowd telling him that his mother and brothers are outside the crowd and would like to speak with him.  Jesus, in turn, looks at those around Him and, by doing His Father's will, calls them His mother, brother and sister.

Does this denigrate Mary or honor her?  What is He inviting us to?
