The important legacy and opportunities that authors, musicians, social activists and business leaders of African descent are creating for the next generation deserves all the recognition. 

CultureThread wants to celebrate these individuals contributions and achievements. This will be a platform to showcase good news, discuss topical events and simply share the laughs of the week. 

The themes of this thread will demonstrate our uniqueness, our creativity and our sense of community that reflects our culture.
