<p>There’s a little bit of Peter in all of us! Peter’s life illustrates how a believer may backslide and lose his testimony. Under pressure, Peter caved to his fear and pride. Peter had the right desire, the needed determination, but he had ­the wrong dependence. Unfortunately, Peter’s dependence was an unhealthy confidence in himself. Peter learned the hard way that we must look to God for strength. So, what about Peter? We see the root of his failure, but what happened after he failed?</p>
