The church is not a sanctuary for saints; it is a hospital for sinners. Are there hypocrites in the church? Of course, there are! A HYPOCRITE is a person who pretends to have beliefs or practices which he or she does not actually possess. If we are honest, we have all been hypocritical at some point. We all get caught up in our reflection. We all want to be seen – to be important – to be valuable – to hide the dissonance between what we do and what we know we should do.
