Show notes

Today we are joined in conversation with BÉZNĂ Theatre,  a British-Romanian theatre company founded by Artistic Directors Sînziana Cojocărescu and Nico Viccari who, along with Company producer Claire Gilbert have been bringing insightful, immediate and confrontational political theatre to British and Romanian audiences since it was founded in 2013.

There is a lot to talk about and many exciting ideas to unpack because of this we will be putting this conversation out in two parts! This gives us the opportunity to get to know the company in depth, explore their process and dig down deeper into what makes BÉZNĂ, BÉZNĂ.

In Part one we explore the beginnings of BÉZNĂ, their process and their most recent productions 'Illegalised' and 'ILLEGALISED' and 'VINOVAT, -Ă'
