Angels Forever: A bomb hidden in a TV by Hells Angels Happy hunting, you perverted little crime-trippers.
The Contract Project - The trapdoor of Montreal’s exchange office
In 1990, the DEA discovered that a very large exchange office, the National Foreign Exchange Office, established in the heart of downtown Montreal, was used to launder large quantities of money from drug trafficking. As this money feeds drug networks in the United States, the American ambassador in Ottawa complains to the Canadian government. It was enough for the Canadian government, concerned about its relations with the Americans, to ask the RCMP, the Canadian federal police, to solve the problem. This is how the Contract project was born, which later became the Compote and Creditor projects. --- This podcast isn’t just a listening experience; it’s also a game. Heist of the Century - The vanishing of an armored truck.
The Provençals form one of the most illustrious organized crime families in Quebec. Of the ten Provençal children, nine have criminal records, just like their father.  The eldest, Roger Provençal is considered in his time as "the biggest kingpin of the French-speaking underworld in Montreal". He is the head of gang activities involved in extortion, drug trafficking, robberies and hijackings. Roger Provençal became famous for having been the leader of a group of robbers who carried out the "heist of the century" on March 30, 1976, by robbing a Brink's truck carrying $2.8 million in broad daylight, in the business district of Montreal. --- This podcast isn’t just a listening experience; it’s also a game. Angels Forever - The fall of Peter Frank "Dunie" Ryan
The West End Gang reached its peak in the 1980s, under the leadership of Peter Frank "Dunie" Ryan, a former robber turned "King of Cocaine".   He transformed the organization into a well-oiled machine for importing and distributing drugs until he was assassinated in 1984 by Paul April. His murder left a huge hole in the West End Gang, who were not about to let this crime go unpunished, especially since the assassin's name was already circulating in the Montreal underworld. So Ryan's successor and faithful ally, Allan "The Weasel" Ross, set out to get revenge, hiring veteran Hells Angels assassins Yves "Apache" Trudeau and Michel Blass to make sure Paul April went out with a bang. To this day, there is doubt about who ordered Peter Frank “Dunie” Ryan's death. Was it the Italians in a move to gain control over the port of Montreal? Could it even be the Hells covering up their own bloody trail by blowing up the guys they hired? Was it Alan "The Weasel" Ross, his faithful ally trying to get the Gang control? This mystery may remain unsolved forever. --- This podcast isn’t just a listening experience; it’s also a game. The Cat-The man with nine lives.
Richard Blass is an infamous gangster and multiple murderer. Born in Montreal, he is nicknamed Le Chat, French for The Cat, because of his luck in escaping death after surviving at least three assassination attempts from the Italian mafia, a police shootout, and escaping from police custody three separate times. For the period Between 1965 and 1975, Blass is a prime suspect in 21 murder cases. Richard Blass is a brilliant, arrogant, and very dangerous criminal. He ends up killed by police in cold blood.  To this day, one question remains unresolved. Who was behind the murder of Richard Blass? Or were Durocher and Lacoste corrupt cops hired by the hated Italian mob to whack Blass?  --- This podcast isn’t just a listening experience; it’s also a game. Paolo Violi’s Murder - The end of the calabrese reign.
Paolo Violi was one of the most well-known Calabrese Mafiosi. On the evening of January 22, 1978, Violi was gunned down in the purest Mafia tradition; during a card game at the Reggio Bar. His bloody end would mark the beginning of a shift of power and of the rise of the Sicilian clan, led by Nicolo Rizzuto and his son Vito. As the experts in organized crime strongly believe Nicolo Rizzuto ordered the hit, to this day, one question remains unresolved. Who shot Paolo Violi? --- This podcast isn’t just a listening experience; it’s also a game.
