Waverly Hills Sanatorium is a former Tuberculosis Sanatorium located in Louisville, Ky. Waverly Hills is known world-wide as 'one of the most haunted locations in the world', but is also integral to the history of Louisville, Ky. Opening it's doors October 17th, 1926, Waverly Hills was one of the largest and state-of-the-art TB sanatoriums in the world. Today, the Waverly Hills Historical Society operates tours, a annual haunted house, and a holiday laser show to raise funds for the restoration of the building. Waverly offers historical tours, paranormal tours and overnight paranormal investigations to thousands of visitors a year.
