Abuse is not love. Yet every year thousands of people end a relationship because the initial affection has been replaced by some form of abuse. For some it takes a few weeks to realise it's time to go. For others it takes years. Domestic abuse is a vile aspect of our society and we can't even scratch the surface of such a vaste topic. It affects all segments of society, ages and abilities. We could talk about it for years.

However, we will attempt to give concise guidelines of what is not a healthy relationship, and why our safety matters more than stability or other aspects that are keeping us stuck.

Our guest Chris Goode will share with us his thoughts about toxic, narcisistic, abusive people and why we need to take steps to keep ourselves safe.

Be careful not to label every partner with a diagnosis that is best left to professionals. Whatever the situation, disorder or condition is keeping you in fear and walking on eggshells, you need to prioritise your own safety.
