After, attending film school for screenwriting Shivawn assisted in creative directing and implementing the visual brand and identity of many businesses. Since committing to her filmmaking career she has gone on to work on production teams that have won many awards.

In 2016, The Creative Outsiders was launched to connect the dots for storytellers. Through education, inspiration and storytelling, The Creative Outsiders have equipped thousands to become filmmakers.

Shivawn is the author of two Books, Producer with work featured on PBS -- Essence Festival and Executive Producer of short films as well Podcast.
