After his time at University of Georgia, he formed the B-52’s with very little musical experience. Fred discussed the formation of the B-52’s (getting their start in 1976 when played an impromptu number in Athens, GA.) Co-Founder of the Band, RIcky Wilson’s influence &amp; death from (complications of AIDS) but also about his love of writing , relationship with Elvira and hooking up with Dan &amp; Noah to form “The Superions”.
