Sonja Read is a public health nutritionist focused on low- and middle-income countries. She has worked for several NGOs delivering programmes and carrying out research. For the past two years her work has focused on Gaza, Palestine, where she is working as a consultant on mainly food security and economic empowerment projects. She will share her story going from being unemployed for months to working her way to doing something she loves.
