They might try to say that June 14 should be tagged as No Kings Day, but July 4 is the real thing.

The ultimate screw you to anybody trying to tell us how to live. It’s the day America drop-kicked British tyranny right in the nuts and said, “We’re free, you Union Jackasses!”

Presidents, blowhard grandstanding politicians, and regular Joes like you and me have been making speeches for years, talking up the Declaration of Independence like it’s the greatest playbook for society ever written. And you know what?

It is.

The Declaration released the chains of British rule and set the way for a government driven by our dreams and our values.

The founders thought the Declaration was the damn blueprint of liberty, self-rule, and natural rights. Americans should quit sleeping on their independence and actually think about what it means.

July 4th ain’t just about setting off fireworks. It’s about celebrating the day we built a new government from the ground up.

Right behind Christmas, John Quincy Adams said July 4th is the second holiest day.

That's how large this is.

Breaking away from colonial chains and establishing a country meant just for us Americans. It forms the very core of who we are and defines the most badass day in American history.

July 4th is a worldwide middle finger to anyone who believes they can compromise freedom. The Declaration gave rise to not only America. It shouted to the world that people possessed rights including life, liberty, chasing whatever makes your heart sing and telling the world you ain’t taking no crap.

We’re all about that liberty vibe, but don't get it twisted. Some uptight conservatives think "pursuit of happiness" sounds like some wishy washy, damn dirty hippie, do whatever you want b******t.

Wrong!

Adams stated that happiness is not about chasing tail or stacking money. It's about living with moral virtue, being your own boss, and keeping your soul right.

Pagan, Christian, whatever. Every damn philosopher worth a penny says virtue is the secret to joy and being a real human.

The Declaration ain’t here to give you happiness. It’s about being free to set up a life so you may chase it without some government jackass breathing down your neck.

Real freedom is when you’re calling the shots, living by your own code, and not letting destructive impulses run the show.

Therefore, this Independence Day, rather than get wasted and do some zombie-like Tik Tok scrolling, read the Declaration and discuss its significance.

Channel Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and all those leaders who knew what was up.

This ain’t just a vacation. Political swagger, history, and straight up truth are the damn legacy of this. America has always gone big. We must make certain it keeps going.
