In this video, we break down the biggest issues plaguing the WVU football defense, examine the scheme and execution under defensive coordinator Zac Alley, and ask the tough questions: Is Zac Alley on the hot seat, and how can the Mountaineers fix these defensive struggles before the season slips away?We also compare Zac Alley's time as DC at WVU to that of 2012 Defensive Coordinator, Joe DeForest, who worked in Morgantown under Dana Holgorsen. Which defense was worse? Finally, we talk about former WVU basketball star Honor Huff and how he could possibly return to the Mountaineers. Is it possible and what would it mean for Ross Hodge and the West Virginia men's basketball program?Drop your thoughts in the comments below: What do you think is the #1 problem with the WVU defense right now, and would you make a change at defensive coordinator?________________________________Sources: sports-reference.comwvusports.comWVMetroNews.com: https://wvmetronews.com/2026/10/04/huff-files-complaint-in-monongalia-county-circuit-court-for-fifth-season-of-eligibility/________________________________✈️ Book your travel plans with Mountaineer Travel: ✈️https://mountaineer.travel/a/COUZGet Your Tailgating Stuff HERE: http://victorytailgate.pxf.io/CouzCornholeCouz's Corner Merch Store: https://couz-shop.fourthwall.com/Join this channel to get access to perks:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGQsDxC1nVegCKqyoMKnL9w/joinOther Ways To contribute to the channel:Venmo: https://account.venmo.com/u/Justin-Walker-516PayPal: https://paypal.me/couzscorner?country.x=US&locale.x=en_USFanatics link: http://fanatics.93n6tx.net/eKxbVrSubscribe: https://youtube.com/c/CouzsCornerSportsSocials:Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/couzwalkerTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@couzscorner?Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/couzscorner206/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Couzs-Corner-113327741384316This channel is dedicated to covering college football, with a big focus on the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Big 12 Conference.
