When asked why most people get married, they might say it's because of love. Are we more interested in giving love, or do we love how the other person makes us feel?If you don't love God, you can't love your spouse. The reason is that God is love.At most, without God, you like someone. The problem with that is that it is based on emotion.Often, we confuse love with like. Emotions are based on conditions that, if not met, can often lead to disappointment rather than a commitment to unconditional love.It's not that you love chocolate cake; it's just that you like how it makes you feel when you eat it.Love is a decision regardless of emotion.
