When I stepped into the role of curanderx in my family, picking up after my late grandmother, Maria, I discovered a whole new world of relating with self & others.

I had to die to who I thought I was to become what I was being called to become.

I quickly saw others on this path who I felt afraid of, exploited by, & just an overall icky sense.

After a series of exploitive experiences in the spiritual community, I became dedicated to identifying & understanding what not to do as an integrious healer & what virtues I needed to uphold.
