Today we keep going in our Ligue 1 season review, and we look at the 10 best defenders of the season 2021/22.

I don’t think there are a lot of surprises in our host's list, and we all know who the 2/3 best defenders are in the French league, but it was nonetheless interesting to look at some of the stats and to remember some of the games that involved la Crème de la Crème as we say in France – and it s interesting to see how many will still play in Ligue 1 next season!
