Host Jillian Horton, MD, FRCPC, guides long-time friend and colleague, Rob Sargeant, MD, FRCPC, through reflections on his career in medical education as he faced life with glioblastoma. Shortly after the Royal College published the interview with Dr. Sargeant, he passed away on November 28, 2021. Dr. Sargeant was certified by the Royal College in Internal Medicine in 2004. He practised General Internal Medicine at St. Michael’s Hospital and was also active in teaching medical trainees. Prior to his passing, Rob and Karen Sargeant established a fund to provide immediate support for St. Michael’s General Internal Medicine department in Toronto.
