Valerie is an adoptee with a LOT of life experience, and I just don&#39;t mean age, which is a bit of a mystery.
She&#39;s had a lot of adventures and shares some of them in our conversation! We talked about SO much! There was laughter and tears (On my end) and some silliness in this conversation. 
She wrote a book called Mystic Masquerade: An adoptee&#39;s search for truth, which should be out sometime in August.

S3-#30 Adoptee ~ Natalie

Hi! My name is Jen and I am an adoptee! I searched and found my first family in 2001. My mother had been deceased since 1982. :( 
Since then I have become very vocal about the flaws in the adoption system. Back in 2016 I got the idea to start a podcast about adoption from the adoptee perspective, but I hade no idea what I was doing so it didn't really get off the ground. I still don't really know what I am doing, but I love talking to adoptees and first parents about their experiences. They are always interesting conversations about adoption, and I hope you like them too.
