Why is preaching the gospel so important? Throughout the pages of the Bible we read of dozens of mighty speakers of God's word. Moses, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Peter, Paul, and Jesus Christ all spent their lives preaching God's word to everyone. Some even sacrificed their lives for the sake of preaching (Stephen - Acts 

-60). Is preaching still necessary to do today and, if so, who is given the commission to preach? Is it to those who are the designated "pulpit ministers," or rather is it all of God's people?
