Technically this is only suppose to last for 4-days however in some areas the festivities start up as early as two weeks before & lasting as much as two weeks after by way of both scheduled & spontaneous block parties known as Blocos & Bandas. We speak about how some of these street parties are meant for adults & some are more family friendly.
