NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, exploded into the mainstream in March 2021, with art, music and memes, like ‘Disaster Girl’, fetching high prices for digital goods that have no physical ownership.

Professor Alex Preda, is joined by Professor Sarah Green the Law Commission of England and Wales Commissioner for commercial and common law, and Ian Taylor Executive Director of Crypto UK, discuss the challenges of governing and regulating NFTs, the appeal of using NFTs by artists and whether the value of digital tokens like NFTs or cryptocurrencies is different than other sorts of assets.
