Quantum computing is a rapidly developing field that leverages the principles of quantum mechanics to process information in fundamentally new ways. Unlike classical computers, which use bits (0s and 1s) to represent and manipulate data, quantum computers use quantum bits or qubits. Qubits can exist in multiple states simultaneously, thanks to the principles of superposition and entanglement, allowing quantum computers to perform complex computations more efficiently than classical computers.
