Tjeerd de Wit’s Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/the.monokeros/?hl=nlHis website: www.zerve.space This fourth episode we are going to talk with Tjeerd de Wit. He is currently in Treasure Beach, Jamaica. He has his own company doing graphic design and social media marketing. Besides this he is studying architecture. This we will have a conversation about. Specifically about the Minoans civilization. We are going to dive deep into his essay on this fascinating culture. The Minoans are interesting for multiple reasons. One of that is they had woman as leaders and also they didn´t have walls to protect their city. They traded far and wide. And were seafaring people. We are also looking at some of the symbology they depicted on their walls. Some seem to connect to astrology/astronomy. We know that they worshiped the Sun and the Bull. We look towards other civilizations to see if we can find any similarities for changing from a nomadic way of living to a more stationary place to settle down. The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind by Julian Jaynes link is here: https://www.amazon.fr/Origin-Consciousness-Breakdown-Bicameral-Mind/dp/0618057072/ref=asc_df_0618057072/?tag=googshopfr-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=227946455199&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7998349678934785666&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9055255&hvtargid=pla-465283667891&psc=1 We go into this idea of how our consciousness shifted from one hemisphere to the other. Like how we released how everything is connected. Through knowing the relationship between us and nature for example. I also mention the I Ching with the 64 Codons. Jeffrey Mishlove is a person where the logo is inspired by. Link to his channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/NewThinkingAllowedIn the second part we talk about self-sustainable living. This ties in with understanding and imitating nature. So we transition to a biodynamical way of living. Tjeerd studied the Earthship project and is orientating to create his own Earthship someday. We explore different forms of producing energy. Through the work of Nikola Tesla and Viktor Schauberger. Working with vortexes and spirals which are connected to the symbol of the earth according to many traditions. We continue talking about permaculture and how to grow plants in a way that doesn’t require a lot of work. Looking into Biodynamic farming and how this can enhance plant growth. This is because of Rudolf Steiner his philosophy. Drifting off a little bit into alchemy, because why not! We also discuss building with hemp and how it can replace other materials for different purposes. Remember to Like, Subscribe and follow me on other platforms as well!
