Steven Tripp is in the NSW Parliament to interview the Deputy President of the Legislative Council, the Hon. Rod Roberts MLC.
Prior to entering Parliament, Rod enjoyed successful careers as a Police Detective and also Real Estate Agent; both careers which he has valuable knowledge and experience that he brings into politics.
Drawing upon this experience, Rod discusses the current state of law and order in NSW, including his thoughts on recent knife crime in Sydney, the increase in crime in rural areas and the handling of mentally ill people in the State.
Rod also has important comments on the current housing crisis and the reckless rollout of ‘renewable’ energy projects across New South Wales.
Finally, Rod addresses his recent move to become an Independent and how that has changed his experiences within the Parliament and media.
